What are the different type of membership subscriptions?

ADMINISTRATOR (Run your own pool!):

• With an Administrator subscription, you gain access to all Our Sports Pool content, including game schedules, game results, team rankings for the regular season, including the trash talk sports board. And with your subscription, anyone you invite to your pool, or who submits a request to participate in your pool (with your permission) may submit ballots FREE OF CHARGE! An administrator could opt to charge a weekly fee for membership that must be paid prior to voting. The weekly fee can be paid using PayPal and the Administrator will be forwarded the membership fee minus a 4.5% service (not including PayPal fees). The system allows the adminstrator to grant voting permissions for users paying membership fees in cash. We offer several administrative plans to accommodate various pool sizes.

SPORTS FAN MEMBERSHIP:

• This plan is for those wishing to join our public (house) Our Sports Pool.com pool. It is a great option for people who do not have an office pool to join. Membership approval is automatic once the membershiup fee is paid via PayPal. The fee is currently a $4.99 subscription to join and includes all league including the championship season!

PRIVATE POOL MEMBERSHIP

• This type of membership is for people who wish a join a pool that is private. Private pools do not show up the search list when searching for pools to join. The administrator will recuit members via email invites and all leagues are supported. The pool administrator may optionally decide to charge a weekly ballot fee. Anyone desiring to be added to a pool must be approved by the pool amdinistrator to be granted online access. It includes the championship season!

PUBLIC POOL MEMBERSHIP

• This type of membership is for people that would like to join a pool that is public to everyone. Public pools are listed on the search page when searching for pools to join. The a pool administrator may optionally decide to charge a weekly ballot fee. Anyone desiring to be added to a pool must be approved by the pool amdinistrator to be granted online access. This pool includes all pool types and inlcudes Our Sports Pool regular and championship season!

Are the membership plans annual?

• Yes. Our paid pool memberships are for 1 year. If you cancel your membership, you can still participate for the remainder of the season. You will not be billed the subscription fee for next season and your access will be terminated.

Does your site allow betting?

• No. We are an entertainment and fund raising site. We do not promote, participate or support sports betting.

How often are the scores updated?

• Game scores are updated each evening at about 11:00pm. When all games on your weekly ballot are concluded, the system then automatically calculates the pool winner.

May I update my membership, if I get more members than my plans allows?

• Absolutely! You can upgrade your plan at any time to accommodate your pool membership growth. Simply access your profile menu and click the “My Subscriptions” button to upgrade your plan. Then follow the instructions on the page to complete the upgrade process.

How are points awarded?

• As the Administrator selects the games to add to the weekly schedule, he/she is required to assign point values to award for each game. All game selections may be awarded the same value, or they may be different, solely at the discretion of the administrator.

What are the bonus points?

• These are points that may be assigned systematically, but also at the Administrator's discretion. There are two types that apply to NCAA Football and Basketball, and each is controlled by an option that is set by the administrator of each Pool.

1. By Team Ranking.

2. By Division Type.

points MAY additionally be awarded when an FBS team plays an FCS team AND the ballot-er has correctly selected the FCS team as the winner.

What are point values?

• As the Administrator selects the games to add to the weekly schedule, he/she is required to assign point values to award for each game. All game selections may be awarded the same value, or they may be different, solely at the discretion of the administrator.

May I have memberships in multiple pools and in Multiple leagues?

• Yes. You may join as many paid pools in as many leagues as you like. There is no limit on any combination of administrator or public pools you may join or administer.
